in their words
every step in my career has been guided by generous feedback. here’s what my managers had to say
“Buyang Daffa was my employee as a varsity statistician with the UBC Thunderbirds through the 2024–25 school year. He has proven to be a very adept statistician and a great asset to the team. Buyang has been as reliable as any employee I have ever had, I can’t ever recall him being late or missing a shift. He took on debatably our most challenging single role in learning to input highly detailed basketball stats in real-time and was able to execute this difficult, multi-faceted role with a high degree of accuracy after just a few training shifts. He brings a growth mindset to his work and takes constructive criticism extremely well, welcoming opportunities to improve. Last, but certainly not least, Buyang brings a glow of constant positivity to the team, often flashing an infectious smile that uplifts everyone around him.”
